A Poem for Mike

We were together house off Hayden just the other day playing our feet in a circle yelling bubble gum bubble gum in a dish how many bubble gums do you wish?

What I wish tho …is to have that precious time back laughing joking you know taking life for granted as our childhood seemed to pass away

Thru butt whoopings and all I had your back and you had mine…man, we thought we’d grow old together y’all but 2007 showed us things were not going to be fine.

Your life a mere vapor I can’t believe our Dad preached your eulogy and we summed up 26 years of your vibrant life on a damn piece of colored glossy obituary paper.

(Scream) You gone and it hurts - 6 feet under American flag draped over your casket

I sat as our childhood memories and tears burned my eyes hell nah wasn’t gone mask it …

The pain of losing a sibling never to return but the way you lost your life I can’t help but discern

SSG Wiggins…Mike… my baby brother to me… my first best friend. Not even 30 when the US ARMY tragically did you dirty

Promises made, definitely broken because mom, dad and and I learned u were used as a token.

A pawn  Preyed upon used and abused … top brass said you took your own life

But we know you were set up by your frenemy former Sergeant bum ass nigga who was cheating with Felicia Dixon your wife.
